Dirty Harry ain't got shit on Cheol-jung Kang!If you like renegade cop movies then you need to check out PUBLIC ENEMY. Kang Cheol-jung is a homicide detective and he just doesn't give a fuck. He steals drugs from drug dealers, beats the shit out of everybody, takes bribes, whatever. One rainy night while out taking a shit on the sidewalk (I told you he doesn't give a fuck!) a dude in a raincoat bumps into him. Kang yells at him and the dude pulls a knife and slices Kang's face! The raincoat dude accidentally drops the knife and then runs off. A week later somebody discovers two old people murdered in a house near where Kang was attacked while shitting. Kang is assigned the case and he'll stop at nothing to find the killer.
I really enjoyed this movie. The beginning was a little slow, but once it got going I was loving every minute of it! All of the actors are really good and I loved the simple style of director Woo-Suk Kang. It's direct and too the point, nothing fancy.
PUBLIC ENEMY drinking game: every time somebody says "asshole" or "assholes".
